The building department has recently set in motion a new record-keeping system that correlates all information
concerning a piece of property into one file for quick and easy access.
The Building Department is responsible for building permit fees and occupational license fees, thus providing income
for the building department. The Building Department is also responsible for ensuring that structures within Dundee
meet the code requirements and having unsafe structures condemned as well as for ensuring that local builders
and developers comply with building guidelines.
